Michael Nina
Program Manager
Michael Nina is our Program Manager. He has over 20 years of experience in community leadership and advocacy, community networking, and program development for community-based initiatives. He is passionate about engaging with our communities, promoting community empowerment, providing awareness of local resources and opportunities. Michael has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University. He is a licensed health insurance broker with an expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial offerings. He is a certified Hispanic Community Mental Health Agent and certified Community Health Worker in Rhode Island. Michael is one of the founding members of the Community Health Worker Association of RI, and serves as the advisory committee president for Centro de Innovacion Mujer Latina (CIML) in Providence. Michael is an active leader and director of the Praise & Worship Ministry at Monte Sinai Church, in Pawtucket. As a Christian music recording artist, he has travelled to multiple states and countries to sing and minister at faith-based events and concerts.
