Dennis González

Dennis is our Housing Programs Manager. Born and raised in Manati, Puerto Rico, he moved to Providence at age 10. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership and Change from College Unbound. Recently he worked as our Community Health Worker Supervisor. Before that he worked at the Providence Community Health Center managing the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. His lived experience in homelessness fuels his passion to ensure everyone has a place to call home. His focus is to ensure that in everything he does he is pouring back and uplifting the community that has shaped and nurtured him. Outside of community work Dennis serves as a worship leader and can be found humming and singing at all times. Dennis is fluent in Spanish and hopes to learn Portuguese.
