Audrey St Initiative
The Audrey Street Initiative transformed a section of Audrey St by removing four derelict properties from the neighborhood and replacing them with three energy-efficient, well-planned, single-family homes available to low-moderate income first-time homebuyers. The project was constructed in partnership with Building Futures RI, a local non-profit that creates career opportunities for low-income residents of urban communities through established apprenticeship programs. The 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath Audrey Street homes sold upon completion in 2017 and are now housing three happy households who are part of the Olneyville community.
