ONE Neighborhood Builders To Hold Fresh Friday on Eviction Prevention Strategies

PROVIDENCE, RIONE Neighborhood Builders (ONE|NB), one of the state’s leading community development corporations, is hosting a virtual event and panel discussion on Eviction Prevention Strategies of Housing Providers this Friday, October 27 from 8:45-9:30 AM. The event is a part of ONE|NB’s Fresh Fridays, a monthly gathering for practitioners, community members, and policymakers interested in community development.

This month’s Fresh Friday will feature panelists from affordable housing providers that utilize Housing First principles to support their residents in avoiding eviction and remaining stably housed. Panelists include;

  • Breah Anderson, Director of Housing, House of Hope CDC
  • Lauren Legocki, Director of Community Impact, Preservation of Affordable Housing
  • Bancroft Soto, Director of Asset Management, ONE Neighborhood Builders

“Building homes is the first step. However, ensuring our residents have access to supports that will help them remain stably housed is just as important,” said Jennifer Hawkins, President and CEO of ONE|NB. “I am looking forward to our upcoming Fresh Friday as it is a great opportunity for practitioners to share what they’ve learned about how to best ensure our neighbors thrive.”

Attendees will hear from panelists with experience working in and across resident services, asset management, and property management at various nonprofit housing providers in the region.

The event is open to all and will have live captioning available in several languages, including English and Spanish.
