ONE|NB Executive Director Jen Hawkins speaks on the Age-Friendly Radio Hour on WPRV with host Caroline Gangji from The Village Common of Rhode Island about the origins of ONE Neighborhood Builders and what we’re doing in Central Providence for affordable housing and health.
Hawkins addresses ONE|NB’s mission strategies: The development and management of housing, addressing the root causes of health disparities, and working in the field of community development. She speaks about ONE|NB Connects, our free community WiFi program developed to provide access to residents in Central Providence during COVID. In addition, Hawkins speaks about ONE|NB’s work to provide leadership academies for older adults.
Lastly, Hawkins speaks about ONE|NB’s upcoming COVID-19 Memorial event, scheduled for Oct. 16, 2021, from 3-5 p.m. at Farm Fresh RI, 10 Sims Ave., Providence.
