Lucy (she/her) is our Central Providence Opportunities Project Manager. Lucy is passionate about place-based work that is grounded in equity, compassion, and community. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in religious studies, Lucy moved to Washington, D.C., as an Avodah service corps member, where she worked directly with women experiencing homelessness. She moved back to Providence to manage two local campaigns of progressive candidates running for seats in the General Assembly. Lucy is excited to translate the skills she has gained from community organizing, direct service, and legislative advocacy to manage this important project, and to invest in the city she calls home.
When she’s not working, Lucy can usually be found at her sewing machine.
