Tonya Johnson, ONE Neighborhood Builders’ Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations
One Neighborhood Builders is thrilled to announce the addition of Tonya Johnson to our leadership team as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations. She is a seasoned nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.
Tonya’s extensive background includes a long tenure with the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) where she most recently served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. At CCADV, Tonya oversaw the management of a $22 million budget with complex federal and state funding streams. She demonstrated her strategic and operational leadership by guiding the organization through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tonya developed a public awareness campaign that utilized improved messaging and an increased web-based presence to improve their service delivery approach.
Tonya’s commitment to creating systems that support vulnerable communities directly aligns with the mission of One Neighborhood Builders. In her role, Tonya will lead our finance, operations, data & systems, and human resource functions. She will work closely with team members across the organization to enhance our efficiency and effectiveness, expand our capacity for impact, and foster a strong and inclusive organizational culture.
