ONE Neighborhood Builders joined other local organizations to support vaccines being administered by the Rhode Island Department of Health and to help people applying for rent relief, on Sunday, Aug. 29, at the 2021 Puerto Rican BayFest, held at India Point Park in Providence.
“We shared information on rent relief, SNAP, SNAP Food Delivery Program, housing application assistance, job placement assistance, unemployment benefits, and medical insurance applications,” said Marilyn Da Fonseca, ONE|NB Community Health Worker Supervisor.
Wendy Sanchez, a ONE|NB Community Health Worker, provided outreach and connected with people visiting the ONE|NB tent.
The ONE|NB staff joined others from RIHousing, offering information on rent relief and other help.
