Domenic Delmonico

Domenic Delmonico is the executive director of Rhode Island Medicaid at Tufts Health Plan, where he leads the development of strategic initiatives to support Tufts Health Plan’s growth in the Rhode Island Medicaid market, focusing on key provider partnerships. He also supports the Rhode Island Medicaid marketing team in pursuing broad-based community engagement initiatives.

Domenic has extensive knowledge of the Rhode Island marketplace. He previously served as a Senior Vice President at Care New England, where he was responsible for third-party insurer relationships and contracts. In addition, he led the development of Integra Community Care Network, the accountable care organization launched by Care New England in 2014, and he served as its first executive director. Most recently before accepting his current position, he worked at Conduent/Xerox, where he served as the executive account manager for the Executive Office of Health and Human Services in the State of Rhode Island.

He has been designated as a senior research fellow for the Health Education and Research Trust, named an American Hospital Association Transformation Fellow, and received the Founders Medal of Honor from the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He received both his master of business administration and his bachelor of science from Bryant University.
