PROVIDENCE — Biz Bodega, a business resources hub and public workspace that seeks to support new and aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small business owners throughout the Central Providence, has opened at 222 Manton Ave.
Biz Bodega’s goal is to be a one-stop shop providing access to a range of resources and services and to create a community-centered space where anyone can gain access to the knowledge, tools, and skills to achieve their business or entrepreneurial goals. Biz Bodega is an initiative of ONE Neighborhood Builders, managed by Innovation Studio Inc.
“We are excited to reach out to the community and collaborate with local small businesses in the neighborhood to help launch this new project,” said Amy Erickson, Director of Rhode Island Programs for Innovation Studio. The program is also being led by Walther Morales, Director of Entrepreneurship.
Biz Bodega collaborates with diverse organizations that provide vital services to the business community. Together, they provide access to entrepreneurship and small business workshops, training, mentorship, events and more.
“We look forward to working with local business partners and the many other great organizations who help entrepreneurs,” Erickson said. From turning an idea into a business to seeking access to growth capital, the team at the Biz Bodega can help, she said.

The Biz Bodega is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Community members are welcome to stop in and use the newly designed workspace or meet with Business Specialist Cynthia Munrayos.
