Alexandra Steinberg

Alexandra (she/her) is our Policy & Research Manager. Before joining ONB, Alexandra worked in prisoners’ rights efforts and co-launched the Queer Justice Project at the Rhode Island Center for Justice. She also previously served as an advocate for young, immigrant non-binary people and women at a holistic legal services organization in New York. Living and working in a gentrifying city on unceded lands of Narragansett, Wampanoag, and Pokanoket people; Alexandra is passionate about centering community needs, as well as advancing equitable and transparent processes. Alexandra earned a bachelor of arts in public policy from Brown University. 

When not working, she enjoys being outside, especially near or in bodies of water.
