Providence residents of all ages turned out Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, for Providence’s Family Fun Day.
Children enjoyed face painting, balloon creations, getting their caricatures made, and mango-flavored cold treats, while others got tested for COVID-19 or received their vaccines.
Central Providence HEZ, from ONE Neighborhood Builders, teamed up with Tufts Health Plan and Councilwoman Kat Kerwin and the City of Providence for the event at Father Lennon Park. ONE|NB staff gave out ONE|NB water bottles, T-shirts, PPE and had Rent Relief, SNAP, and HealthSource RI outreach.
