C+J Rentals started with a straightforward goal: to provide rentals  for small parties. Founded by father Mynor Quiñonez and sons Jeffrey Quiñonez, Christian Quiñonez and Danilo Quiñonez, the business began with a few basic party items, but quickly grew as they served more clients. As the business expanded, Danilo, Jeffrey, and Christian faced the challenge of keeping up with demand and navigating the complex world of loan and grant opportunities.

Many funding options were tangled in red tape, making it tough for small businesses to get the help they needed. Enter the Central Providence Community Loan Fund. Unlike other funding sources that focused mainly on only dollars and cents, the Central Providence Community Loan Fund took the time to understand the business’s values and goals. This personalized approach made all the difference for C+J Rentals.

With the support from the Central Providence Community Loan Fund, C+J Rentals was able to make significant improvements to responsibly take their business to the next level. They now offer a broad range of rental equipment for various events, from corporate functions to large community gatherings and small family events. This growth reflects their commitment to meeting the needs of a diverse clientele and enhancing events throughout Rhode Island.

In addition to financial support, the Central Providence Community Loan Fund introduced C+J Rentals to a network of other small business owners. Many of these businesses benefit from C+J Rentals’ services, creating a supportive community of local entrepreneurs.

Looking ahead, Danilo, Jeffrey, and Christian are eager to continue growing their business. They have plans to open their own resource and event planning center, which would allow Rhode Island small business owners to showcase their products and services without the burden of investing in and managing all the necessary  equipment needed for their events.

As C+J Rentals moves forward, their mission remains clear: to support and enrich the Rhode Island community, one event at a time. To learn more about C+J Rentals and their journey, visit their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/CJPartyRentals.
