Claudia is a certified Community Health Worker who is experienced in community outreach and who takes pride in helping those in need. She has worked with the homeless and low-income residents, from her native land of Colombia to the streets of Rhode Island. She is fluent in English and in Spanish. She has lived in Pawtucket and Cumberland, and she now works directly with people in Providence through nonprofits and local churches, advocating for people who often feel voiceless and overlooked. While in Colombia, Claudia studied personnel administration and professional etiquette. In the United States, she has worked as a CNA and a phlebotomist, while working to earn her degree as a social worker. But her biggest pride and joy is her daughter, who gives her strength every day.
