With over 20 years of executive leadership experience, Peter is an accomplished leader in community and economic development, particularly in affordable housing and revitalization initiatives. Peter has a successful track record of planning and executing comprehensive, mixed-income housing and economic revitalization projects in challenging markets and has leveraged billions of dollars in investments across several major U.S. cities and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Before joining One Neighborhood Builders, Peter was CEO of the UVI Research & Technology Park Corporation where he oversaw significant revenue growth and launched the $40 million Tech Village project, emphasizing sustainable agriculture, economic development, and workforce housing. Under his leadership, the organization was recognized with the prestigious International Economic Development Council’s Economic Development Organization of the Year award. Peter has held leadership roles across several unity and key economic development organizations, including the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, Madison Park Development Corporation in Boston, and the City of Richmond, VA. He has worked on several high-profile projects which received national acclaim, including the Mariposa Transit Oriented Development Initiative in Denver, CO.
Peter received a master’s in public policy with a concentration in macroeconomics and urban planning from Tufts University and an undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University. He also completed graduate studies in real estate finance at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Peter serves as a vice chair of the Center for Creative Partnerships’ Board of Directors and is an advisory board member of Renaissance Equity Partners.
