H.M . Karriem van Leesten IV

H.M. Karriem van Leesten is ONB’s Real Estate and Acquisitions Investment Manager, leveraging 27+ years of real estate development and public-private partnership expertise to develop our core acquisition strategy and deal pipeline. He conducts feasibility analysis and site evaluations to deliver data-driven investment recommendations. Balancing mission with revenue, Karriem is instrumental in building ONB’s for-profit arm, shaping long-term investment strategies, and managing vital external partnerships with brokers and sellers. In his own time, he loves learning languages and can speak Spanish, Dutch, and Sranan Tongo (Creole Language of Suriname). Currently, he is learning Portuguese and his native Narragansett Indian Tribe language. Karriem also enjoys spending time with family, fishing, hiking, canoeing, traveling, and cooking.
