What is AMI?

Area Median Income (AMI) is a standard used to determine eligibility for affordable housing. It reflects the midpoint income for households in the Providence area.

If your household income exceeds 80% of AMI (higher than $98,800 for a family of 5), you will not qualify for housing at this property. We kindly ask that households above this income limit do not apply, as we are unable to make exceptions to these income requirements.
