As summer temperatures continue to rise, One Neighborhood Builders remains hard at work developing new affordable housing across Rhode Island! We are excited to provide a summer construction update on the progress we've made at The Avenue and Broad Street Homes!  The Avenue   Located in Providence, The Avenue combines the re-syndication of 46 affordable apartments in the Elmwood neighborhood, referred to as Elmwood Neighborhood Revitalization II (ENR II), with the construction of 39 new affordable apartments on Atwells Avenue, known as The Avenue.   ENR II encompasses 46 apartments scattered throughout 13 buildings. Providence Journal: How the central Providence community made public bathrooms in their parks a priority

When children play at their local parks, they are often provided with an abundance of free green space, playground equipment, ballfields and basketball courts, yet no place to go to the bathroom.

In response to community feedback, the Providence Parks Department and One Neighborhood Builders began adding these amenities with the opening of sustainable public bathrooms in Merino Park on July 17.

One Neighborhood Builders’ Central Providence Unidos launched a participatory budgeting initiative in 2022 where central Providence residents voted on the installation of public restrooms in their parks.
