“Peter H. Chapman has been named president and CEO of One Neighborhood Builders (ONB), one of Rhode Island’s leading nonprofit affordable housing and community development organizations. He will bring his more than 20 years of executive leadership experience building vibrant communities to ONB starting Feb. 3.
Most recently, for six years, Chapman served as the CEO of the UVI Research & Technology Park Corp., a public-private economic development agency and independent affiliate of the University of the Virgin Islands. He has also served executive vice president of the Detroit Economic Growth Corp. and deputy chief administrative officer/deputy mayor for economic development and planning for the city of Richmond, Virginia.
His appointment concludes a national search that began last August after Jennifer Hawkins announced her departure after leading ONB for nearly a decade.”
