April 2nd has been designated as National Service Recognition Day. This day is specifically focused on recognizing the work done by AmeriCorps members and Senior Corps volunteers. AmeriCorps has three different programs: AmeriCorps NCCC, AmeriCorps State and National, and AmeriCorps VISTA.
